Shayla asked Anthony if Amber took divorce back, would you move on with her?๐ฑ Full Video๐๐
The room fell silent as Shayla stood near the kitchen doorway, arms crossed, her eyes locked onto Anthony’s with a storm brewing behind them. Anthony, sitting at the edge of the couch, looked up from his phone, sensing the weight of her stare.
“I need to ask you something,” Shayla said, her voice calm but firm. “And I want the truth.”
Anthony sat up straighter, already feeling a knot forming in his chest. “Alright… go ahead.”
Shayla took a deep breath, choosing each word like a blade. “If Amber decided to take back the divorce… would you go back to her?”
Anthony blinked, stunned. He wasn’t expecting that.
“That’s a… serious question,” he replied, buying time.
Shayla didn’t move. “It deserves a serious answer.”
Anthony sighed and ran a hand down his face. “Shayla, I’m here with you. We’ve been building something together—”
“But that’s not what I asked,” she cut in. “Don’t dance around it. If Amber changed her mind… if she forgave everything and wanted you back… would you leave me to go back to her?”
There it was. The question Anthony had quietly feared.
He stood, walked a few steps, and then turned to her. “Shayla… a part of me never stopped loving her. I can’t lie to you. But I’m not that same man anymore. What she and I had… it’s broken.”
Shayla nodded slowly. “But it’s not gone, is it?”
Anthony looked away. “No. It’s not gone.”
Silence lingered, sharp and cold.
“I see,” Shayla whispered, tears threatening to escape. “So I was just a… what? A detour? A recovery stop?”
“No—Shayla, you’re more than that,” Anthony said, stepping toward her. “You helped me heal. You gave me hope when I didn’t think I deserved any. But if I told you I don’t still feel something for Amber, I’d be lying.”
Shayla backed away. “Then I can’t keep pretending this is going somewhere. I won’t fight a ghost, Anthony. And I won’t share a man with his past.”
Anthony’s jaw clenched. He knew this moment would come. And he hated himself for still being unsure. For still feeling the pull.
“You deserve someone who can give you everything,” he said. “And maybe that’s not me. Not right now.”
As Shayla walked out of the room, the door didn’t slam—but the silence after it closed said everything.
